This session will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024, 12:00pm-1:00pm. This month’s session will be presented by Dr. Joel Dobbs, Sr. Instructor at UAB Collat School of Business – Management, Information Systems and Quantitative Methods. Dr. Dobbs is an experienced life sciences executive with over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. He will speak with the Alabama Statewide AHEC Scholars about how the pharmaceutical industry approaches health disparities.
The Alabama Statewide AHEC Scholars Program Office’s a monthly webinar series delves into healthcare topics supplementing the scholars’ coursework. Open to a broader audience the series features expert speakers who provide insights into various healthcare subjects, offering a valuable extension of knowledge. Participation in these webinars is encouraged to enhance understanding across the spectrum of healthcare topics.
